What if we never went to the moon?

What would happen to the museum displays then?

I’ll buy them all and then bring new evidences of the moonlanding on your table 😀

Not a Ken Ham fan I presume? 😁

If you are going to the CM, don't forget the side trip to the Ark Encounter!
No but I know a Theology Professor at Columbia College that went there as research for a book he just published. He said it was a hoot and he was treated very graciously.

Didn’t the Dayton fail tests for NASA and yet that is arguably a far more popular and valuable watch than a speedmaster?
I think it wins in the following categories:

Most watches sold
Total value watches sold
Most recognised by non watch people
Most recognised by watch people
Greatest numbers sold second hand per annum
Most value sold second hand per annum
Edit, forgot, highest price recorded at auction

The speedmaster is a small time watch. One I like, but it is surely eclipsed by most Rolexes in terms of numbers.

It brings to mind the largest jeweller in the world, who sells the most diamonds - that is by numbers sold, dollar value total and carat weight.
It’s Walmart

I don't think they ever sent a horse into space. A dog and a monkey were the only ones I know of, so "Monkey shit" or "Dog shit" would be more appropriate.
Amended to correct typology for shit.

You should take a look at the YouTube channel called "Paulogia" that deals specifically with the various claims made by these whackos...it's pretty entertaining. Ham and AiG's!

The reflector mirrors we left mean somebody was there.

Nothing would change the current design, quality, and usefulness of the Speedmaster. I'd keep mine with or without the moon history. Did we fake ALL the Apollo missions? If not, the Speedmaster certainly did fly in space. Jim Lovell and his Apollo 13 mission? That's more than enough for me.

................

I used to say that.

Then someone told me the Russians have reflectors too.

If the stories are true we have to find out which watches the cosmonauts wore on the moon on those one way missions.

They’d be proper moonwatches

Well, one inescapable fact is that I have not been to the moon, nor has any watch I own, nor my wife, my children, grandchildren or dogs.
The second inescapable fact is that conspiracy theories are always waaay more fun than the truth.

One fact you need to now be enlightened of is that I gave up four minutes of my life to watch the front half of this video and I shall never get that time back.

Look, the guy could be right. Elvis could be living on Mars. I am simply not bothered.

Tell that to the parents of the children killed at Sandy Hook when people tell them they are all actors, their children weren't murdered, and the whole thing was made up...

The people who peddle/spread these theories are the lowest of the low IMO.

The one common point that always ends up at the end of conspiracy theories is that one's hardships are never one's own fault. They'd be rich and living idyllic lives if it weren't for the (Illuminati / New World Order / Lizard people) etc.
Pathetic

I tend to agree with this - the Daytona has no significance whatsoever, except that it was once worn by a pretty pretty man. Price of entry for this very common watch? Low five figures for a recent one, $30k minimum for a vintage model.

People like the Speedmaster because it has a design that fits well with modern tastes - if there were no moon connection, I think we'd still be in the same spot but with perhaps fewer LEs

This was amusing, but we don't want this site to turn into a deniers VS believer forum, as well as become an attraction for "Wackos"

So, it's over now. 😀
