Thank you. Yours is a good point. I have a couple toy pocket watches at home (long story) and 4 real ones that were #\- $50, except one that was just south of $100. Not worth writing a heist movie about. Looking around my home I see lots of items worth more than that combined value - TV, computer, stereo etc all out in the open. So I think why the heck can’t I enjoy looking at these watches every day? But, reading some threads here on OF, and your guidance, it gives me pause. Watches are small, gold (mine not solid gold) and have an allure that may prompt an opportunist (the plumbers assistant in your example) to peek in from the kitchen to the living room and say “look at those, I’m going to grab one”, or come back later for all of them. Something to think about...
