·Curious if the crack that you're describing are like this - what I've heard some call 'craze'
In some cases vintage crystals get like this. Usually they're only visible at an angle, and while I guess they are cracks, they aren't exactly impact cracks. Either way it probably should have been disclosed, but if it's an impact crack then it definitely should have been disclosed. I'm not sure what others opinions are, but 'crazing' due to age doesn't seem as heinous to me. Either way I imagine you have grounds for an "item not as described" case, but I would be less bothered and more understanding if it was like the above image.
Of course I wouldn't have to ask this question if you just showed us photos.
