Very nice. I much prefer their simple dress watches to their sportier models. Manual wind?

Finally had a chance to check one out in person, a buddy picked one up and we had lunch. That beautiful snow white dial, just incredible finishing and attention to detail! Enjoy yours!

Congrats! That's a sharp-looking watch. I wish I had a boutique nearby to check out more of their models in person. The ones that I have managed to try on have all been gorgeous.

Classic and understated. A fine choice wear in good health.

The better choice (and superior understatement) than the usual 3-6-9-crown-model 👍

Yes, manual wind. I believe all SBGW models are manuals, please correct me if I'm wrong on that count.

It took somewhere around five minutes to make a decision. I went in looking for the SBGW285 with half a mind to buy, and bonded with 293 instead.

Congratulations on this beauty - the quality of finishing is really outstanding on those GS.
Did you also check the Spring Drive models - I am mesmerized by the sweeping second 😀

They have now nice models w/o power reserve indication on the dial.

I looked at a few, and one of my pals just bought one . . .

. . . but my preference is for purely mechanical watches. Thanks for sharing yours!

I’m not a big Gs fan, but that chocolate dial does look rather nice indeed
