Well, you are right of course @Hans the Wolf. This is the one that bought cheaply as a non runner at the same time. The one pictured has just returned from STS, where it's been for spa. So it's having its first turn in rotation. The one you're refing to has already been shown. When I'm back at home I'll get a side by side.

Cheers

Finally back from the servicing. Big thanks to @Lewismark .
Is this from the 1980s?

Do you have any good sources for reading about Junghans and their military connection?

Double wristing with this on my right hand!

Nice... just the right amount of patina on that one, it looks stunning.

RAF issued Hamilton H-67 on the wrist today 😀

BTW, searched for "nato regimental straps" and the first page found was this one: https://www.regimentalshop.com/collections/watchstraps-g10-nato Any one of you familiar with it? As it is a RAF-issued watch, which one of these straps are the best (i.e. most "realistic") to use with the watch?

RAF: https://www.regimentalshop.com/collections/raf/products/royal-air-force-watchstrap-g10
RAF Regiment: https://www.regimentalshop.com/coll...l-air-force-regimentregimental-watchstrap-g10

I no absolutly nothing about the correct colours for the UK regiments but hopefully some of you in this threads have the knowledge 😀

Hey Hans,

Your looking for a strap like @Gaz6263 is showing or alternatively a brown one. Can't remember the shop of the top of my head.

These straps are correct, should @Gaz6263 get a zig zag as his hs9 is a fleet air arm assigned watch. But think of these as to represent regiment colours. Something like a tie you could wear with a shirt to show your association with FAA. As supposed to Navy issued version.

Hope that makes sense. Ill dig around to find you a nice shop. In a bit

Pat

Hi Pat,

Sorry for my late reply 🙁 Well, I have straps coloured brown/grey/blue/black so what I was thinking about is a more coloured one like the ones at "The Regimental Shop". So what I am looking for is the correct colours matching a RAF issued H-67 😀

Cheers,
Hans
