Vintage belt buckle Seiko golf watch on nato.
Tavannes produced a similar belt buckle watch for Hermes, and others, beginning in 1928. The modern day Tavannes announced back in 2018 that it was planning to reintroduce the watch as "Le Captive"....I don't know if they ever did.

A JLC from the late 20's I believe, with a unique leather wrapped spring steel band that I believe to be original to the watch. Thanks for looking.

Those are three of my vintages that show a serious degree of patination.
I bought the Eterna and the UG as project-watches for a small fee with the intention to give them a second live.
The golden Chronograph Suisse came to me many years ago as a gift.
This watch was in really bad condition, one lug was totally ruined, and the movement was not running.
My watchmaker brought even this piece back to life.

kind regards,

Timo

I've got a Cyma version from that period.

The modern (proposed?) Tavannes looks huge by comparison but doesnt take full advantage of the available dial real estate. It's supposed to be able to transform from a belt watch to a wristwatch to a desk clock.

I didn't know about the Seiko ones until today. @Shaka Express 👍
