Wow, amazing. As someone who is new to taking an interest in watches, I think I'll be looking at more Bulova's in the future!
Everything I have is "vintage" now ... some are even antique. Let's see if I can do a few in date order .... This 1919 silver trench is all cleaned up now, serviced, has a shiny new crystal, and is sitting in the store waiting for someone to fall in love with it. 1927 Rolco trench in yellow gold is off at the spa .... This Cyma tank dates to 1938 ... While this Rolex Hurricane Observatory is waiting patiently in a box for some parts (I think I've got them and will drop her - she is a her - off at the spa to have a movement service before she then goes to another specialist to have those hands and dial consolidated). She dates to 1945. From the 1950s I can show you this pretty rare little Heuer alarm: and then these two each date to 1961: From the 70s, I've got a host to choose from. Seriously, I don't even know how many watches I own from that decade. Let's go with ... erm ... these two: From the 80s, I have a real soft spot for this one. I know that Techniques d''Avant Garde went and stamped their name on the dial but to me it will always be a Heuer: and then the early 90's are now old enough to be vintage so let's go with this:
Tissot's version of an Omega SM ST-176 inside is a Lemania caliber 1341 same as the Omega caliber 1041
The tank I posted above or another one? If it's the tank, they come up very rarely. I bought mine at a car boot sale in 1990. There's one on Chrono24 here: http://www.chrono24.com/cyma/origin...wer-reserve-tank-watch-cal-334--id2912459.htm but the case seems a little rough, the crown's wrong and I'm not at all sure about the hands. I can only suggest you keep a running search on ebay, watchrecon and the like.
