What is strange is that the seller has Omegas as their icon
I know. And is a collector. Something just doesn't compute.

The seller and I discussed the price. It was very keen but he wanted to move it on and I was very lucky. No haggling involved!

Thanks!
We are good here. I was merely trying to point out how it was an Omega collector, should really know better when selling an Ed White.
It doesnt detract away from the fact I feel sorry for the seller. Which I do.
But clearly pleased for your find.
No slight on your good self. Apologies if it was taken as such.

No part of this makes sense.

Congratulations to the buyer though - seems you've got a great deal.

It's called a market inefficiency. rare, but it happens (obviously). "Who Dares, Wins".

Less so inefficiency, and more a case of a seller leaving real cash on the table and donating it to the buyer. Congrats to the buyer, but leaves me scratching my head at what the seller was thinking. 馃憥

When I was still collecting pinballs I did sell them on at cost from time to time as I did want to keep the hobby going - maybe that's what's happening here? Don't forget that this was the going price not so far back.
