I think I have solved this one for you.
Same dial, same hands, same lugs.
Gold filled top case with stainless case back. Star watch case co.
This is a pretty rare reference Y6277 in itself so very hard to source if you wanted one. This one was sold in the USA.
Thanks Michael

After all the chatter about First Man, I recently stumbled upon this stainless steel Lalaland type Sterile Dial Omega example which, to me, seems very very close to Ryan Gosling's. Seller pics attached and it's arriving today. I think the dial is not redone as I have similar period examples. Hoping that the radium lume dots have survived. I will post macros later.

What does concern me is that there appears to be no reference number inside the caseback 馃槻
Was this common back in the late 50's. Movement number is 15xxxx. Caliber 284.

Opinions? Comments?

All of the Omegas from that era that I've seen or owned (and I owned many) had a reference number. This obviously does not mean that I've seen them all, I only state my observation. Perhaps this is a service case back hence being unmarked? Even without the reference number if you buy it and ask for an extract of archives Omegas will possibly be able to shed some light on the history of the watch.

Looks like a version of this, which is a 2792-5 SC mid 50s cal. 283 though.

I have seen White dial versions like yours, recently too....but where? If I come across anything, I鈥檒l post.

Macros, GC readings and UV light tell the story.
Dial and hands all seem to check out as original. Really nice patina I think.
All radium lume dots present and matches the hour and minute hand. 650+ CPM on the Geiger.
Not an expert on crystal logos but the Omega emblem is there. As is the flat foot crown.
Sharp, thick lugs. Strap is probably the way to go but I have a 1959 period correct Ranchero BOR sliding buckle bracelet that looks A OK to me.

Now I just need the reference number 馃檨

I'm not 100% sure but I think he wears the same watch in First Man, so it may be his personal watch.

I think the watch in LaLaLand has some sort of structure on the dial... Like the one on the second photo. I don't know how you refer to a structure like that... But it's really close. The lugs of the watch used in the movie were maybe polished down to that rather unusual shape?...
