·Hello everyone,
I need your help. I bought a Longines from a user in another forum, he had already sold me 2 or 3 IWCs which were all great.
I don't know anything about Longines, I just liked the watch. The diameter without the crown is 35mm. The seller assured me that the watch is completely original. I trust him because of my good experiences with him.
Now it has arrived and I have doubts as to whether the dial is original. The Longines lettering seems ok to me in comparison with other watches from the 40s. But I'm not sure about the numerals. Can you help me with this?
The serial numbers on the movement and the inner and outer covers match. I have not opened it but he took photos.
Please find attached some pictures.
Many thanks, Andreas
