“I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
168.006, from Austria. Case rather beat up, but dial and movement in good shape. Matching 18k buckle thanks to a wonderful ΩF member. Original Ω croc strap.

Quick story time. My first exposure to mechanical watches was when I was a little kid, with my dad’s broken gold Pie Pan Constellation, no strap and stashed in his desk drawer. Years later when I learned Omega was a prestigious brand I went back to look for it, and I think he threw it in the trash 🙁

Decades later it spurred my want for a Pie Pan, preferably gold. But when I tried different Pie Pan variants, none ever had that spark for me. I then saw this one (didn’t know these styles even existed), and it just felt like such a fit. May not be the most desirable but it’s my favorite watch to wear for any occasion.
