My 168.004. Still haven’t got around to have the crystal changed. Going to put it on a croc strap for a change.

If it is a low dome crystal, keep it. Unavailable.

My first Constellation, 2782-1, not rare, but very beautiful to my eyes and mine now.... thanks to Troels of course, as always. Impressed at just how accurate it is too.

I was so sorely tempted to buy a amazing Black Waffle Dial Connie available on IG last week.......but sometimes you just need to take a deep breath, enjoy what you have, move on and look out for the next one......fingers crossed.

Thanks very much, you’re too kind!

IG = Instagram- at least that’s the shorthand I use 😀

Very like the first Constellation I ever bought, and probably the last one I'd part with.

Then again, maybe not so alike. No two double-signed Omega watches ever seem to have the Türler signature in the same place.

I love this thread.

Here is a new one for me. When I first got into vintage and I noticed Constellations, I loved the funk of the C-Case Connie, especially with a knurled/coin-edge bezel. Well, I was able to bag a 168.027 dating to 1968. The bracelet most commonly seen with these is the "Brick Bracelet," however mine came with the 1093/515 combo, which I had never seen before (but isn't too uncommon). It actually was a surprise as I thought maybe it was an aftermarket band before being able to look it up. It is also a stretch bracelet, which is kinda cool. The 564 with a pull-out quickset date feature is really helpful given this one isn't likely to be worn daily.

The second hand has been replaced so that's a drawback, but it's not too much of an eyesore at the moment. Any suggestions on how to locate a correct hand?

Anyhow, time for pictures.

I also feel like these aren't worth touching if they have been polished. Here is a macro to demonstrate: 😀

😀

Hey guys, looking for a bit of advice on this one and I don't really want to start a whole new thread for this.

How would I go about getting a correct seconds hand for this one. Is this something Omega still provides? Something I can find at OFrei or cousins (I have a hard time navigating those sites)?

One more picture now that I got the original bracelet off for cleaning. A lot of dust under crystal and crystal still needs to be buffed out.

Sorry I don't have much info on what you asked but really nice minty look Connie. I had a c case one too.

Wearing this one today.
