I finally get to post in this thread. Over the years I've been ensnared with silver pie pan Constellations but never bought one due to all the obvious pitfalls as a novice. I've learned a lot from the forum and of course all the online resources from member @mondodec .

But thanks to @JohnSteed I actually have my very own silver pie pan!

It was born in 1966, same as me.

Pulled this one out to look at today, it hardly sees the light of day. I think a new pair of shoes may cause me to wear it more. Black Gator maybe....

I dunno, we might need an even more explicit "How to avoid the noob tax" sticky or something. Lord knows I wish I'd seen it in 2011.
