Two vintage Omegas in my collection with original black dials, this '56 American cal 502 SM Calendar . . .

[no crystal in either image]

. . . and a '57 Connie . . .

. . . with rose gold hands and markers.

There's a Seiko and IWC, too, but the op was looking for Omegas only.

Hi Art,

Both lovely, but I absolutely love the arrowhead connie..that must be extremely uncommon with rose gold dial furniture on textured black dial! Wow! 🥰

Enjoy,

Best,

Alex

My favorite black dial watches that I still own:

And the two dials I think are the epitome of the breed (in diver form at least):

Gosh, Steve, that's more black three-handers I've ever seen at one time, including Omegamania.

One more on my hard drive; this one doesn't belong to me . . .

View attachment 44241

. . . but I know the details of its provenance, and can confirm it's entirely original.

I'd just like to re-affirm my dibs on the ZRC.

Thank you. 😁

Ok! it has a black dial and at 1958 you could call it vintage.
Normally sits in the motorhome but decided to bring it indoors and give it a run.
Never tried on the wrist - yet

Alright folks, this is a call to all off you to show off your black dialed vintage pieces! They can be any brand, but must follow two simple rules: they must be considered vintage, and can't be redials! So post 'em away!

I'll start with mine....

Oh, wait...sorry, I don't have a vintage black dialed in my current collection 🙁 Hey! but don't let this stop from posting yours!! Let's see them!!! 😁

My '56 Seamaster Calendar (US 14 kt gold filled case, ref KX6275) . . .

. . . just returned from my watchmaker's care last week.
