Been a whole since I posted any black dials (or anything else for that matter). See if you can spot the two re-worked dials. I'm not going to call them "redials" but "restorations".

It does seem to be a unicorn. There are vague stories of a 24 hour version of the TG 195 but I haven't found any reference to another or anyone who has even seen another. When Lemania was sold the majority of their records were disposed of. We know this calibre in this asymmetrical case was sold to the Swedish Army as the TG 195. We believe it was also sold to the South African government. We do know that it was offered as a 24 hour variant but not that either government ordered it.

The most logical explanation, at least to my mind, is that this one, or a small number, might have been made.for use within the Artic circle where one wouldn't be able to look out of a window and know if it was day or night. That is pure speculation, though.

It is a bit of a belter.
