Just got a custom made Horween leather strap for one of my vintage black dials - It was made by Drew at Europelli straps and I'm delighted.

My Seamaster does have gold printing, hands, numbers, arrows, etc all in gold on the dial
Omega, Automatic, and Seamaster are in a lighter shade of gold

That shouldn't stop you. The picture below was taken with an iPhone 3GS:

I think the standard camera has a macro mode, and there are many free apps out there that can help.

One thing to start is to turn off the flash and move to a well-lit area. Outside is better.

Its something special with black dials, for sure. This is my contribution. Whats on my list is a black waffle and a black Constellation, most of all a combination😀 Happy new year!
