That video was excellent!! Great job guys, with the review as well. I recently sold my electric blue waves SMP and purchased a Railmaster w my funds. I do love the Railmaster, but now I miss having an Omega diver.... Always thought I would eventually get a PO but finding a 2500D version in black/black seems to be harder than I thought - 8500s are just too thick for my taste. But..... I saw this ceramic blue SMP in person, and I couldn't take my eyes off of it. Add to it that they all come w the D version movts?!?! I think this maybe my next omega. Oh and eventually a moon watch. Not sure which one first, but both eventually.
Thanks for helping me out on my decision Omega forums and reviewers!
I got stainless steel version and like the weight, it's well balanced. I belive all latest versions will be D Rev just as mine. Not sure how to gurantee this when buying, think Omega official store should sell only latest and ADs are likely to get anything else older rev.

I have the older quartz model and it has been used as a true tool watch. I haven't worn it in well over a year, gonna have to start wearing it again.

Is the dial itself ceramic or something else that's been lacquered?

I'm going to have to buy one of these sooner rather than later. Great video and photos.

The new dial is a major departure for the Seamaster Pro line, with the traditional wave pattern painted dial being replaced by a gorgeously finished glossy blue ceramic that catches light to change colour from a vivid blue to a deep navy depending on the angle.
Is the dial itself ceramic or something else that's been lacquered?

Great review...I liked it so much I have two. One on a Hirsch Grand Duke honey brown waterproof gator strap and the other on a two piece HNS Bond/SPECTRE strap.

Love my blue version. Also, I think that the bracelet is absolute perfection in every way. Funny that I thought that it looked dated and ugly before owning one, and now I couldn't fathom wearing my SMP without it.

I can understand that, but I like the lighter weight of a NATO or leather strap; plus it allows you to tailor the watch just about any way you like. I think the only watch I'd keep the original bracelet on would be the gold/stainless/black Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial, Rolex Submariner, or new Tudor Black Bay.

I have a SMP Quartz 2221.80 and a SMP Ceramic bezel Chronograph. I CANNOT bring myself to replace the original "classic" bracelets with anything on Earth. It just seems wrong. I have purchased a new (in vacuum sealed Omega packet) buckle as the original had been "scotchbrited" to try to make it look new-ish. I just polished over the "angled wrong way" scratches mess and will replace the buckle if I ever sell it. But I just don't think these watches look correct on anything else.

Great video, no matter how close up you get to this watch it still looks perfectly flawless!
Had my mid size black version about a month now and love it to bits, dial is so easy to see with the non reflective coating on the crystal and it's keeping spot on time and looks amazing.
Weight is good and the bracelet is beautifully machined and finished, not sloppy.
It did seem a lot of money at the time but I don't regret it one bit!
