It has been quite a while since our last video, the first was 9 years ago, the second 5 years ago, but we’re aiming to increase the cadence quite a bit and produce some more regular reviews of a variety of Omega watches without there being a half decade gap between them anymore. I’ll have a more detailed review on the stories section written in the next week but in the mean time I hope you enjoy this and would appreciate any feedback.

Also please like, subscribe and comment on the video as it helps us with the YT algo, thanks!

Incidentally the next one planned is the 2627 Seamaster Deluxe piepan which I’m quite looking forward to doing.

Slight change of plan, second video should be out tomorrow and rather than the Seamaster Piepan it will be the Planet Ocean Chronograph in 18K gold which is a remarkably photogenic piece. In the mean time please subscribe on YT and the SMPP will be after the Planet Ocean.

Looking good! Such a big chunk of gold to be swinging around 😁

Just curious, what does a gold PO chrono weigh? I have a 600GMT and there are days it's too heavy.

Very interesting, I had no idea that Omega had done this. IWC are currently doing something similar for serving members of the RAAF, Fratello has done a good write up of it here.
