Cause he wrote: "I am not interested in selling the watch as I find it a very "mysterious" and special watch, and I would really like to keep it and hopefully pass it on some time."

Catch of the month, very nice find! Enjoy that fabulous watch and go for an extract. You can order it on the webpage of Omega.
Maybe of the year!

Yes this is the same watch as the other thread.
I received too many private messages with people who wanted to buy the watch as my username was my real name. So people were able to find me on social media etc. I apologize for making another thread

Ok, thanks for clarifying. Great find and all the best to you👍

Thanks for your input!

Just out of curiosity when I fill the page for an extract from the archives in the case number line do I just put the 2914-2 which is the reference or how am I supposed to do it?

just fill in 2914 without the added number. they fill you in; don`t be too specific...... it might come up as delivery to peru only without the military connection FAP. which is fine as well...... good luck ! kind regards. achim

this should be interesting if authenticated with an EOA. the caliber appears to be
283/284, just about the same caliber under the hood of the railmaster. the flightmaster
next to it is already a chronograph.

Dear God! really.. One thing to ping you a speculative enquiry via the forum but to search, find and approach you on another media platform? I think if I was lucky enough to stumble on a find like this, with this in mind I would just keep it to myself.

Great find, and hopefully Omega come through with the extract to support it. A sympathetic clean, service and new crystal should have that looking VERY presentable

and also makes me wonder how many others appeared at flea markets in used condition, bought and then discarded unknowingly 🙁

Even in the developed world around 1/5 of people don’t use the internet.

In the "flea market world", 1 out of 2 don't use the internet. 😉
