That dial appears to be 100% original.

I've noted your arrows and concern, but don't really understand what you're suggesting it ought to look like.

I found the arrows not in the right middle of the numbers. For instance on the 1st picture, 40 minutes, the arrow looks in front of the "4" and not right between the "4" and the "0". Same for "35min".
May also be an optical illusion due to the photographer's orientation.

The bracelet is made by JB Champion rather than GF. These were made in the USA and are entirely correct for these references.
Thanks B, good to know

Any other opinion on that one? Am I the only one to find the arrows are a bit off compared to the minutes numbers?

Not on eBay but, have been in talks with a dealer on this one.. I've tried to verify and looks pretty good to me, but I want the experts to weigh in on originality of this piece. The seller wants 4,000€ for it. Thoughts?? (I've asked seller for more photos, so stay tuned..)

Got a pic of the movement and caseback.. Let me know what you guys think, I'm sort of stalled at the reference # inside the case being 6 digits.. Maybe an expert can tell me it all checks out, but right now just raising an eyebrow. 😕 .. Also curious on the "110X" engraved on the movement..

That's not "110X" but "HOX" which is the correct united states import code.

EDIT: code corrected to avoid confusion

@LouS Oh, ok. That explains that.. hadn't read about that in Sala yet.. What do you think about the 6 digit case ref engraved on the inside of the case-back? Does the case # just have a 3 digit code of 109 instead of 0-99 ?

Reference being 6 digit is possible, "22" first 2 digit looks correct as equates steel and chronograph.

Your 110x is probably HOX which is the import/export code (I forgot whether it means USA or not, many threads talk about this in the forum) looks like a cal 481?

It's entirely possible for there to be 6 digit references and 224109 is a correct UG case reference number.

That's not "110X" but "UOX" which is the correct united states import code.

The import code on the balance cock here is "HOX" which is a US-import code used for UG under the Henri Stern agency. "UOW" was also used, but that may predate the partnership with Stern.

In any case @x3no , the watch looks great, so put in a serious offer. Hope it's on your wrist soon!

Thanks @ELV web @LouS and @woodwkr2 !
Three experts' confirmation about the dial's original state led me to buy it.
Hope I will have a good surprise and will let you know!
Those two are the true experts, I am just a quasi newbie 😀

Somebody is going to say it's all about the case. And then we're all going to have that stupid song in our heads again.
