·Sadly, there are no shortcuts to finding great Polerouters. You just need to keep searching and the wider you cast your net and the more frequently you search, the more likely you are to find what you are looking for.
You are right to think that it's unlikely that a good example will crop up on eBay but you never know, so don't give up but also try instagram, dealers, classifieds etc etc
It helps to do your homework, so that you are able to seize the opportunity quickly when it arises. In your case, you need to know the potential references for a black dial De Luxe, what movement to expect, what the crown should look like, the likely price range etc
There is a marketplace on the Polerouter reference site where you can add a wanted listing, which might bear fruit.

The ref I’ve seen that I like is a 10357/3. But there's so many I expect there’s a few variations of the combo I’d like!
