I remember Ben had a nice one. I already own two Outdoorsman … don’t need any more. I’d buy it for the kid but he got the Baltic GMT for his birthday.
I got this model and it iis a good wearing watch !

Seller has it $795, a Rolex bubble back same size from that era would be $$$.? In todays vintage market what would you estimate the value ?

Interesting to see the dial variations on these. Yours is cool with the 24 hour blue outer track.

We've spoken about the Spectator recently. Did anyone here have a nibble?

Another Polerouter H20217-8 Broad Arrow "Chronometre" has turned up on eBay USA:

Numbered chronometre 2323 movement too.

One of the few where the lume doesn’t look like mold.

This very nice catalogue sold for the princely sum of USD 1.115:

was watching that one. That’s quite a sum for a catalog. Now I’m wondering what my 1937 Zenith/Universal one would go for

The want was strong on this one. It is the nicest UG catalogue I have seen for a long time.

Special mention to the Compax 12392 in gold. I have never seen this reference documented outside of Sala and I can't recall ever having seen a photograph of a real one. One of the best UG dials ever produced in my opinion.

Now seems like a good time to revisit this classic thread;

Strange old parts box that was sold on the 'Bay:

I bought that one.

I was assuming it was a box for pocket watches given the illustration and padded compartments.
