Why didn't they turn the red dot to 12 o'clock, it's annoying haha 😁
Anybody knows how much it was sold for?
7k, or 8750 incl. premium
Hmmm.... pretty reasonable.
Hello!
Any thoughts on this?

its not from ebay but i suppose its ok...to post?
I actually got it and the credit goes to your post in this thread.
We’ve seen so many weird watches here in my tenure. Imo this is a a Frankenstein’s special.
it does seem very odd. if someone invented the entire caseback though, with logo, etc, they don't even research the 5 digit code meaning? I haven't looked at the logo, stamping, etc, compared to original to see if it looks right. I thought the dial and hands looked nice, but the two tone was odd, and the caseback, I certainly wouldn't pay that kind of $$
I'm not sure what is going on with this watch? How can you have a solid 14K (52412) reference on a SS caseback ? Did someone make up the caseback stamping?

It almost looks double stamped? If it is a 3, then what do you make of the bezel and crown? Someone’s just having some fun?
Fun = I like ripping off the uninformed.
The inner caseback says
Metal Chrome
Fond Acier
Inoxydable
That speaks for a 3. And even if double stamped, that was not uncommon. You know that best. 😉
Bezel and crown: Crowns are replacement parts.
Is car tuning for you ripping off the uninformed?

May be the bezel was damaged and someone wanted a duotone case. Who knows what happened during the past 70 years?
