Remotely similar dials: I think so yes
Interesting. If you happen to have a link handy please share. I was looking at this and a 20904 on ebay recently and didn’t find many dials that were even close

Don't have links I'm afraid but I think the (general) design of this one is not unique

This is a redial.
Yeah was curious if they were matching it to a known configuration or something of their own imagination. Somewhat pleasing at least

This is a redial.
I'm not entirely sure about it. I purchased a similar watch in France some years ago, which independently has very similar print features - particularly also the large letters in the signature. I always assumed it was a redial, but now I have my doubts.

This is the only picture I have on hand at the moment, but I'll post more once I take it out of the safe next time.

That looks very similar to all the ones I saw in my research but black. The big deco numbers and much more prominent “Universal Geneve” along with the red seconds hand of that other piece didn’t seem to match anything else I could find.

You might be right. I need to take some better pictures of my example. I had almost forgot about it and haven't had it in my hands for a while 😀

The thing that looks most off to me on the previous watch in discussion is the Universal Geneve text, without serifs and pointy. I have not seen this before on an original dial. But that catalog pic above looks kind of pointy and non serify. (I would have to see much better pics of your time only example, I can't see hardly anything).

Yeah, as far as I remember, the text on mine has the same issues, which is why I always considered it for a redial. I need to get some better pictures of it.

Definitely a deco style in that catalog example! Text is much smaller and lower than the one for sale. Seems more plausible that it was at least based off a legitimate design but something still feels off to me. My opinion is worth little to nothing on this though, I am here to learn how to discern such things from the experts 😀

Indeed. So it was not 100% correct
