no, it is not. That is a redial, and not a good one.

Printing is uneven, and printed over non-removable dial furniture, subdials not properly centered. If you can't spot this as a redial, you need to do a little more training for your eye before spending your hard-earned.

Thanks for pointing out the exact issues I should be looking at.

Might be a good idea to add a cooling off interval when in the heat of the chase.

+1 definitely take some dial to re-evaluate. particularly vintage watches, it's dangerous to fall into the trap of "oh but what if this opportunity doesn't come up ever again"

Unless it's an ultra rare 10 pieces made patek, chances are you'll get another opportunity at it at some point!

i find the dial messy, other will jump in, i would pass, too expensive (wrong hands, markers, redial).

aside from font inconsistencies, the fonts in general are not quite right. Plus the railroad tracks are not right. Plus the sub dial hands seem too long. Plus the minute hand seems too long (same length as chrono?). Plus the watch is from Italy. Lots of monkey business IMO. Still, attractive watch at the right price.
The bid just went up to €6k and there is still 7 days to go. 🙁

I’m the new lucky owner of this watch (direct offer).

I have doubts about the dial also, anyway it could be correct.

I will do some research and post macro shots 😉

This beauty FS by your fave Boston dealer 😉

Among other comments .... Is the Tachy ring correct?

The tachymetre looks good to me. There is another for sale down in New Zealand. I have no connection to the seller and this is his picture.

Ref 181102 is a very rare bird indeed. I could neither afford nor wear one of these but what a glorious way to sign off the 60s Tri Compax.

@Larry S I know what you mean but all examples seem to look like that. Maybe UG decided that the dial was already busy enough, dunno.
