Scary.
Personally, that would make me think twice.. If it was in the expected range, maybe. But outside the expected range and no details in extract, then I dunno. Is it an ultraman just because it has the correct hand?
Somebody just paid a lot of many for a 145.012-67 with an orange chrono hand...
https://www.bukowskis.com/en/auctio...n-kronograf-armbandsur-42-mm?from_language=sv
The commission at Bukowskis is 22.5% so the price actually was 12874,75 USD...
Actually decent -67 example. Could be worth that much even without that hand. The hand was just the distraction.
Well, Speedmaster101.com has 11500 USD as the value for a 145.012-67 in "Collector" condition, I doubt that the one at Bukowskis could be considered to be "Collector", or?
I don't have the MWO book, but according to Speedmaster101, an Ultraman should have a 2607xxxx serial.
That was correct for the one on auction, right?
No, MWO says that the interval is 26.076.8xx to 26.079.7xx. The one at the auction has 26.072.352 as the serial number.
It looks really nice but there is just one thing. Without the extract form Omega it's just a nice 145.012-67 with a red chronohand, but no Ultraman.
But the 145.012-67 is anyway a great looking watch, with or without the red hand.
My updated Ultraman project, using an "Ultraman-spec" hand. 😉 don't ask me where I got it.
