Does this 145012 have the typical « ultraman » satin finish?

I have an ultraman with a deep black/satin dial. We can clearly see the difference.

Nice pic! The more light there is the more visible it gets…I wish we had that kind of sunlight today here!

Finally some sun today and the dial colour/texture is indeed really different!

A 105.012 « regular » dial (although quite a nice one^^) :

« Grainy » matte texture

Theso-called « silky » dial :

Deeper black, texture is smoother, much more shiny…

Anyway, many thanks to those who helped me with this one when I only had the seller’s pictures, I’m so glad I went for it! 😀
By the way, this was on eBay! There are still great opportunities to be found there if you’re ready to dig deeper than the often-poor listing pictures! 👍

Congrats! Personally, I would go for regular 145012 any day, because I don't like red hand on these 😀

It's also interesting to see from those close-up shots that subregisters are a bit different.

To be honest, it was never on my « must have one someday » list. But the opportunity was hard to let slip 😁

now that I have one though, I must admit that orange hand really does the trick for me, I always considered speedies too « black and white ». Not any more! 😁
