Tokyo watch shopping

Nice pics and if anyone is considering a trip.... just do it (as Nike say) as it's such a great city to shop, eat, see the culture/buildings and just experience in general, especially right now with Yen so low!

After 3 trips to Japan so far this year (and 5 watch purchases) I even recognize some of the watches and display cases from Nakano Broadway (which IMHO is the BEST spot for watch shopping/spotting in Tokyo!). I'm not sure why the Universal Value shop has had that 2998 for display only for the past 3 years or so!

Which was your favorite store or area to shop in?
For sure Nakano was good, e.g. Jack Road and Fire Kids. My other favorites were probably House Kihiroba in Shibuya and Commit, Shellman, and the Watchnian flagship in Ginza. Komehyo and Best in Shinjuku were also decent.

I can definitely say that on the 3rd floor of the Nakano Broadway shopping center I have seen vintage dials for sale, in particular Rolex, Zenith and Grand Seiko. I'm not 100% sure but I believe I've seen some Seiko too.

Belle Monde is one of the stores, but their website only seems to show complete watches so you might want to email them..... https://bellemonde-tokyo.translate.goog/?_x_tr_sl=ja&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US
Thanks. I will look into it. I am interested in exactly vintage genuine Grand Seiko dials. I will look for an email and send them a letter.

As for the Bellemonde, they only seem to be selling whole modern Grand Seikos.
