Hi there,

New to the forum, have come across the following tri-compax for sale. Was wondering what some of the more experience memebers thoughts on it. Some of the work on the dial/numbering seems different to what i have seen before, yet it to my untrained eye it seems not a bad model? I've also seen on other threads some mention of the pusher at 4 being incorrect... and doing some comparison this example seems to be a little stubby perhaps?

you folks have hawkeyes! amazing, will read through that thread. thanks!

You're welcome.

I'm moving this one on to make room for another 287 I'm finally hoping to snag after years of chasing. Trying to be transparent here hence the link to the discussions on it. 😀

Is this the same one that got away?

Yep. It's oh so close. Had a meetup with the owner last week that fell through. but has been re-arranged for a few months. I'm hoping to just offer his asking. :s

At least it does not have the 30 numeral reproduced twice, on the outer minute track.....

That’s a plus !

This dial is absolutely original, I guess from very very late 40s or super early 50s given the font and type of the subdials at 3 and 9 o'clock.
