Looking to pick up my first vintage piece and this one caught my eye. Seller is in Japan and is asking $800 USD.

·This is a nice example of the slimline Constellations Omega put out in the 1960s. They are not as sought after as a standard Constellation of the same era, so they are generally cheaper than their larger equivalents. Nonetheless if you want to get into Constellations they are a nice starting point. The case on yours is slightly polished, which is standard Japanese practice, but would not bother me. You could ask for a small price reduction, but I have found Japanese dealers pretty intransigent on their prices.
