The Stuff She Buys at Auction… latest buys.

I have never posted a video before. If it works, it’s from a 10 year old commercial. I will explain why I have included below.

My wife and her best friend have a small antiques hobby. They sell for about $3000 or so per month. But they buy lots also. Today I popped in to an old building that we own. Here is roughly what I saw.

They buy from auctions regularly and my wife has had success with watches. See attached pic as a sample of her best buys.

Combing through some of their stuff I found a few space and aviation related items. See photos.

Now, if anyone knows what VSVN stands for, pipe in.

I am of course kidding. For ten bucks this past Tuesday they bought this jacket and it has the NASA patch and CFB Cold Lake. This is a Canadian forces base that hosts (or hosted) NASA survival training courses. The initials on the patch also represents some aerospace related program.

Pretty cool. And if you know more about this CFB Cold Lake and NASA connection please share.

Now, the video that I tried to load was a commercial circa 2012 where a terrifying monster kills several astronauts. He is unable to see one poor astronauts who is hiding, but unfortunately, he farts. (women don’t fart? Right?).

So as I was waiting for them to get the jacket I regularly sent them texts saying that I was going up with Space X, I was sending them screen shots of space related songs (David Bowie, Peter Schilling and Bif Naked) and of course of the beans video. And I needed my jacket!

Anyway, I am glad we own a few buildings because it makes for easy pickings and keeps our house free of clutter.
