I need to dig out my old coin collection. There are dozens and dozens of wheat-backs. I suspect most are worth about 1.2 cents each, though :)

Hey I'd be happy if I ended up with a penny that was worth $10. So I will definitely keep an eye out for one :D

I would but I'm positive YOU wouldn't find any, so that seems pointless. :)-

I've been looking for one of these since I was a kid in the 60's. I think I have a better chance at Powerball than finding one of those pennies.

And the same thing as a commemorative plate. Never seen one of those appreciate in any way. Not a real coin.

It's really just bullion but since it has a denomination of $25 it is a coin not a medal. So long as the price isn't too high above spot I'm buying one.

During WW2 copper was important to the war effort for war production materials like electrical wiring of aircraft and vehicles and bullets and any other armament that needed copper so most WW2 US penny's were made of steel during WW2 so the few that were made of copper were rare. I would not pay that kind of money for a penny. They had ration cards for food and gas US company's stopped making stuff for public consumption like IBM, Singer sowing machine co, and others made guns and all US car company's made tanks and jeeps and other vehicles for the US Military and same with all aircraft company's and ship making company's every thing went into military manufacturing some thing that we today will never see happen again. All this is what makes that little penny rare it mite of got minted by mistake so not many out there. A little history on steel penny's
