Wow...I set my alarm here for 3am to see this end and maybe pick them up. I think this makes DON bezels look cheap.

My $5.00 opening bid certainly makes me look cheap. ;)

I love the contrast in price. Sold for $187.60 shipping $0.69.

I did find this set interesting because I have not seen the years split like this. The four new sets I have are for one calendar year. I wonder if companies could order sets with specific dates or if this is a combination of two sets? Either way this one of the nicer sets I have seen form this time period.

I was watching this as well. Astounded at the price. Seems my dream of buying an ed white, a mesh, and a wrist calendar are getting further and further away... TLIGuy I don't suppose you still have a spare one lying around do you?

I'm still on the quest to complete the Apollo years and single handily keeping this thread alive. Only 1970 and 1972 needed to finish of the collection.

These two set just arrived today from the states. A nice new complete set of 1971 calendars (Apollo 14 & 15) and an interesting set of 1969 calendars. I found this 1969 set for $3.99. While they are Apollo period correct they are a bit different form the Timely sets and actually a bit more attractive on the JB bracelet. The 1969 was new and complete and included additional November and December 1968 calendars. Bonus since December 1968 is my birth year and Speedmaster born on date.

@TLIGuy - Your obsession is odd but strangely contagious. Ever since your first post I've been looking off and on for these calendars too. For $34.99, hell, I'm in. I'm sure these things cost $0.12 to make but for the 1969 year, it seems good to me. And as the seller notes, these calendars can be used for year 2059 as well. It's the gift that keeps on giving!

Anyway, thanks for being the watchdog for these calendars. I've got a quirky incoming that will keep me busy, happy and more importantly, away from buying watches for the near future. After the last couple of months, I could use a $34.99 distraction. Thanks.

The only reason I continue to post them when I see them is because of the interest behind the open forums. I've lost count of the number of PM's I have received regarding these things and if I have any to spare or can help point them in the right direction to find them.

Also, this is less than an obsession and more of a challenge. It's the hunt for the Apollo years that makes it fun.

....and contagious enough that 6 have sold in the last hour.

The calendar recycles every 11 to 13 years.

I'm sure the seller must be extremely pleased at how quickly these have sold in the past few hours!

Brings back memories while I was still in high school in the early 60's. My dad gave me his calendars and placed them on my (manual-wound) Oyster.
