And also so ridiculous. Half of what he is doing is out of the field of view, and the video is so poor, you can't see anything anyway. I laughed out loud when he said that he was considering using a pair of pliers to handle the tiny spring, but ultimately decided it would be better to use a pencil. Hasn't he ever heard of tweezers?

Oh yeah, my appreciation of the video was almost exclusively based on how ridiculous it is!

Ps: soap is bad for gaskets! Warm water is better.
But how would the soap/water even reach the gaskets unless something was wrong with the watch?

😕 The gaskets are what keep the water out. Get the watch wet and water will reach the gaskets.

Gotcha. I thought water didn’t actually get to the gaskets and they were more of a fail safe ::facepalm1::

Sometimes, if the watch is gently placed in the water and you don't break the surface tension, the water doesn't get all the way to the gaskets, but that's not as easy as it sounds.
