I've tagged a few of you in a new thread I have created for you.

Would you mind continuing your conversation in this thread?

You are just spamming this with your off-topic discussion.

Thanks!

I'm not about to plunk down 6 figures on a RM, either. The VC boutique next door to it was friendly, too. If you go to Boston, there's a block or so (on Newbury street) that's got a bunch of boutiques.
Were any of them particularly unfriendly. I'd assume Rolex because, Rolex.

Jog on @ErichKeane. Don't feel too butt hurt that I dared to post that my watch had failed and had a moan about your precious Omega.

"So if anything, this thread/discussion has made me feel that Omega is doing a great job at QA!"

ROFL - if you say so!

What help was your post eh?!

Also, good to see that you boys are prattling on about something totally unrelated. Ever thought of starting your own thread? Or just too busy annoying others?

There is clearly a fair degree of toxicity on this forum, which overspills into others.... Always the same names, always the same names...

Don't feel too fortunate.... I'm just gonna hang around for the comedic value that I am enjoying from your comments!
I'm amazed by your lack of reading comprehension. BUT, you lack reason anyway, as is apparent in this thread.
Your comments have nothing to do with this thread.

Pls start another thread of your own.
You're not the boss of me.

There is a Rolex nearby. They were ok, not overly friendly nor rude. They had no men's watches for sale but some to try on.

I thought this was a watch forum?

Or is it a forum for male cat lovers?

Shouldn't you be posting about watches, guns, cars, bikes, boats, planes, wine, cheese etc.?

The lack of testosterone is palpable...

These recent posts of your cats (?!) make your other comments about RM and daytonas seem, well, almost interesting.

FWIW, I've found the Rolex folks at the few places I went to as quite friendly and not particularly rude. I found the one in Santa Clara to be rude perhaps, but the local ones are both really friendly. I went when they had time, but they were WISers, so chatting watches was nice. They just couldn't give me any promise of a watch anytime soon, so I ended up going grey to get my 3 Rolexes.

Is there anything else you need to add about your watch? I think you covered it all in the first 2 pages of the thread, which is mostly your posts. Moving on to testosterone supplements seems to be outside the scope of both the thread and Modern Omega Watch subforum, so I wonder if you could peddle that in another thread.

I would be disappointed too by the way, had I bought your watch. But at some point you have to just move on.

Jesus Christ...

Leave your cats, your knitting and your baking out of it! Post something relevant or at the very least, interesting FFS pls!

But better yet - jog on!

Oh I've covered it all.

It's just the salt rubbers now...

I'm not sure how cats or RM or Daytona are relevant, but the salt rubbers won't move on!

Ah, the speedy will get sorted, it's only a watch...

I was seriously looking at an OP (it's really the only current Rolex that I would buy) but it was right around when the bubble dial came out and I mentioned OP and they got very dismissive.

In fairness that was the same AD I bought my Speedy in and they were equally dismissive with that as well.

Yeah, thats fair. TBH, the Omega dealer that I went to a few times was absolutely AWFUL, but it is a jeweler AD that treated me poorly enough that all my Omega purchases are from online somewhere. The new OB is pretty great though, so I ordered the white speedy from them. I suspect it is a bit of a luck-of-the-draw.

The Rolex shop I went into the first time, the guy recognized my Railmaster and made a big deal about it. We basically talked watches for about 30 minutes, which was really nice. I ended up picking up a Longines from that salesman and ordered a strap for the same watch. He was reasonably honest that I was likely looking at 'years' for any Rolexes though.

The worst one for Rolex was going to the Santa Clara one (at some really high-end mall) where they were pretty strict about the whole store being closed to browsing without an appointment (and I perhaps snuck in, as they came over to kick me out).

Still though, that one Omega AD near me was the worst.

I can also never decide if I got a discount or not. They knocked the price down so I only paid the advertised with no sales price.

Always figure I could have done better.

Oh, works flawlessly in case anyone here is wondering. Great watch, well made
