Go away unless you have something sensible to contribute.

What a muppet you seem to be.
Look over the last several pages and tell us what you've contributed that's sensible.

Let the man respond on his own behalf eh? Or are you his mammy?

I haven't moaned about the fault today.... And I should not respond to the muppet posts.... Never could suffer fools. Seem to be a few round these parts tho...

I'm not asking for anyone to be sympathetic, I was hoping for some useful information, which some have been kind enough and informed enough to provide.

Many of you have little to nothing to contribute whatsoever...

I am not looking to argue with anyone on this forum.

I am annoyed by all this and will not vent any more on here.

Making snide comparisons and insulting me are not helpful, thank you very much.

If you have some experience or insight to contribute, I am all ears.

Thanks

The OP doesn't hold themselves to the same standards for what he expects from others. For example, he wants hard data and will dismiss any sensible post that doesn’t include it…
Pls share your data or stop making assumptions.
Great post. And clearly you have professional experience in QA, but you have not qualified your statement

While simultaneously saying this for themself…
I have provided the best evidence, and I cannot offer any better. I made it clear that it was likely wildly inaccurate.

That price is sufficient for Omega to make a fantastic watch which only a small percentage of have a failure, one that is likely easy to fix. A few months ago, I went to a Richard Mille boutique and handled a $250k model... which I discovered was defective. The minute counter of the chrono repeatedly failed to advance after the first minute. After I told the salesman, he said it would be fixed after it was sold!
How does one even get in the door of an RM boutique

You are an irritating little man @Scarecrow Boat

You are nothing more than salt rubber. Nothing to contribute. Nothing useful to say.

All you can do it wind it up.

Tragic AF fella.

How many times do I have to say it?!

If you don't have anything nice to say, maybe don't say it?!

Just a thought!

Let me put it another way - if you don't have any experience of this, and have nothing useful to contribute, go back to Facebook or wherever you lurk, and troll / hijack someone else's thread.

OK?

Well, this thread has certainly been informative in terms of members that actually know about something about horology (I exclude myself, before you go on the attack!) and those with nothing better to do than rub salt in.

It seems to be the same people across multiple sites who have zero to contribute, but for some reason, lots to say. You know who you are!

LOL

You’re not looking to argue but then immediately follow yourself up with a pointless instigating comment.

Which is it?

Just leave it fella. This is nonsense.

You've said your bit, now jog on.

You are a waste of time.

Good point. Should have bought a Daytona at retail.
Hell, I would LOVE to buy a steel Daytona at retail. But I won't wait years for it.

Arrive during business hours and walk through the entrance.

I've only ever seen one store, there's one in the Crystals shops in Vegas and it was early and I was not presentable (not to mention hungover). But they also had a security guard who looked like nobody not on the list was getting in.

Go to the one in Boston. They were quite pleasant (I wasn't dressed fancy at all)

I wasn't that bothered. I was more wondering if it was appointment only where they check you out kind of thing, get rid of the time wasters like myself that don't have 6 figures to spend on an ugly watch.

Maybe ugly isn't fair, but I'd like to think if I won the lottery I wouldn't be buying one.

I'd be much more interested in an AP boutique visit

Urgh, OP is THE WORST. I regret trying to help him on this thread. Omega, and we, are fortunate that he is not going to be buying any more Omegas.

Jog on @ErichKeane. Don't feel too butt hurt that I dared to post that my watch had failed and had a moan about your precious Omega.

"So if anything, this thread/discussion has made me feel that Omega is doing a great job at QA!"

ROFL - if you say so!

What help was your post eh?!

Also, good to see that you boys are prattling on about something totally unrelated. Ever thought of starting your own thread? Or just too busy annoying others?

There is clearly a fair degree of toxicity on this forum, which overspills into others.... Always the same names, always the same names...

Don't feel too fortunate.... I'm just gonna hang around for the comedic value that I am enjoying from your comments!

I'm not about to plunk down 6 figures on a RM, either. The VC boutique next door to it was friendly, too. If you go to Boston, there's a block or so (on Newbury street) that's got a bunch of boutiques.

Your comments have nothing to do with this thread.

Pls start another thread of your own.
