One interesting thing about my archive I had never seen before, my watch was delivered to Bermuda. Anyone ever seen that before?

This is an interesting thread as I just today got my archive back and found out that my watch was produced on October 29th, 1968 and is a 321, 145.012-67 caseback. I did a search and could not find a single watch produced after mine with a 321 movement. If any watch should be a -68, it should be this one. Has anyone ever seen a 145.102-68 caseback?

Don't know anything about -68s, but coincidentally this -67 that I no longer own was built the day before yours. The SN on the one I used to own is really close to the one Michael Collins wore on Apollo 11. I remember reading somewhere that the last 321s were made in November 1968, but I don't recall the source.

EDIT: Just saw your correction that yours is from August 68. Mine was a -67 from the last days or weeks of cal 321 production.

Whoops, my bad. Didnt see two different watches listed.

In my opinion, there is no way a 24 mil movement should have a 68 caseback

Interesting 145.012-68! Did you get the Extract of Archive for it?

Just curious, that's a really early serial number on the 145.012-68 isn't it? Seems more in the 105.012-66 range.

Certainly I would want verification in the form of an extract before I bought it!

I have never seen earlier than 25m but that doesn't mean it isn't original

Perhaps you should start a cousins club

I have one similar to J-Luc's with the same 24950xx serial, 68 case back and dot over 90. Good to see another one with the same low serial as people normally assume it is a franken watch. Mine is also on an 1116 bracelet which I assume is original to the watch as they came out in 1968 also from what I have read. I would be interested in selling it, pm me if you are interested.

I started this thread February 10, 2015, 12 days later , I found one 265532xx.

Very rare. While many 145.012 were made in 1968, most received the 67 case back. The last of the 321 Speedmasters
