During tonight's lively back and forth regarding transitionals, 145.012, 145.022, 321, 861, DON etc etc, I noticed that Moonwatch Only mentions reference a 145.012-68.

I know that the 145.012-67, containing the last of the 321 caliber movements, were produced in 1968 but is there actually a reference 145.012-68?

Doesn't the book mention it? Do you have some reason to doubt it?

No. I had never seen or heard mention of this reference before. Must be a very rare watch. Has the 321 caliber but no raised logo on dial. Opposite of the 145.022-68

While they do exist, I do not own one. Nor have I had the opportunity to buy one.

I do believe they are less "Unicorny" than the 145.003.

Anyone got a photo of either?

I searched the reference on the forum and there are some pics. I'm still confused as to the dial. Is it a raised seal or not?
Fratello shows a watch with a raised seal and the member's pics show a dial without.

I would be surprised if the 145.012-68 had anything other than an applied metal log on the dial.

Don't forget there are vintage ie 60's 321 service dials with painted logos and short indices. Some have very nice patina.

This is an interesting thread as I just today got my archive back and found out that my watch was produced on October 29th, 1968 and is a 321, 145.012-67 caseback. I did a search and could not find a single watch produced after mine with a 321 movement. If any watch should be a -68, it should be this one. Has anyone ever seen a 145.102-68 caseback?

That's even more interesting as I asked for a scan of the case-back and movement. Next thing I knew, the watch was sold.

BTW: I also asked for a scan of the bracelet clasp to see if it matched the '68 date.

I have done a search and seen some 68 casebacks so they must exist. Anyone wanna swap for a perfect 67 caseback? It also seems that the last 321's had Dot next to 90 Bezels and for all this time I thought mine was replaced, it appears it may be original to the watch this way.

What's the serial number on yours? DN90 bezel not really commonly accepted as original to 145.012-67.

I understand that but, in the above links all of the -68's had DN90's. My Serial is 25.655.XXX

I just realized mine was produced on AUGUST 29th, 1968 not October. So, I am mistaken and I dont need a 68 caseback (probably) and do need a DO90 Bezel (probably)
