imo, it's actually a perfectly balanced watch dial. 3-6-9-12, four pairs of long arrow index in between and no dater. nice choice.

I have recently started looking at this too since ive found omega does 36.2mm watches (ones on the way). Im surprised to find out that it has a transparent back, which should show the faraday cage right? It came up on an ebay search the other day but I dont know what I typed and cant seem to pull it up again. Interesting replacement for a 1016!

on another note, is it possible to get different omega dials/hand sets easily?

I think for this iteration of the Railmaster, they ditched the antimagnetic which is why you can see the movement through the display back.

About to have a watch shipped from Europe... people should not read these threads when they have an incoming. 🤔

so no gauss protection on that one? i did see a dial and hand set for aqua terra but it was so oddly priced that i have no idea if its fair or not. my aqua terra in 36.2 is the silver dial. no issues with it but just curious. that 3,6,9 12 dial is smashing

I never liked the Railmaster before, but for a clean and simple dress watch it's really grown on me. I blame the Speedmaster for rekindling my interest in Omegas. I have had Seamasters before but I was not particularly passionate about them. I even got a Rolex to replace my much larger Seamaster PO that had been my daily watch for years. Then the Speedmaster bug bit me and I'm getting Omega fever. That Railmaster is very nice indeed!

I have a question about 16750 and inserts. I was under the impression that a 16750 should have a “fat font” blueback insert. However I’ve both seen and heard from dealers that their watch has a “correct” blueback insert but clearly on the picture it has a “thin font”. One dealer said it can be correct but it depends on what year the watch is from. For what years would a thin font blueback insert be correct for a 16750?

Thanks in advance!
