I have recently started looking at this too since ive found omega does 36.2mm watches (ones on the way). Im surprised to find out that it has a transparent back, which should show the faraday cage right? It came up on an ebay search the other day but I dont know what I typed and cant seem to pull it up again. Interesting replacement for a 1016!
on another note, is it possible to get different omega dials/hand sets easily?
I think for this iteration of the Railmaster, they ditched the antimagnetic which is why you can see the movement through the display back.
I never liked the Railmaster before, but for a clean and simple dress watch it's really grown on me. I blame the Speedmaster for rekindling my interest in Omegas. I have had Seamasters before but I was not particularly passionate about them. I even got a Rolex to replace my much larger Seamaster PO that had been my daily watch for years. Then the Speedmaster bug bit me and I'm getting Omega fever. That Railmaster is very nice indeed!
