So how do you get some?

I used to collect Speedmasters and wanted the ST1, the 60th Speedmaster ’57 and the ST2 in my collection.
Did not get the ST1 because of the reservation process stalling/failing.
Got on the list for the 60th at my local boutique when they did the release for it. But heard nothing back from them.
Did not get the ST2 because of the reservation process stalling/failing.
And supposedly my name was on the ”on hold” list from the ST1 release.

I am really looking forward to the Apollo XI 50th, but how do I know if there is any chance to get one?

So my question is:

How do you get some?

Need to get a bracelet so I can wear this while I patiently wait for the 50th to be, hopefully, available:

Wait for the resale market. 60th and ST1s have been available there nearly continuously. I almost always see one or the other (sometimes both, as below) on sale on this forum. I bet the "Ultraman" will end up there too, once the hype dies down.

ST1 -- logged on to Omega's site and reserved one

60th Anniv -- wan't sure at first. Eventually agreed to go through with a purchase a "trusted reseller" had contacted me about.

ST2 -- logged on to Omega's site and reserved one

It seems Everybody wants some..
I wouldn't mind some of that. Nice to see birds with no tattoos these days.

Except that with the prices on the resale market, missing the internet race and not hitting that button on time is a costly move...

You could always snap out of the Speedmaster trance, Free Your Mind, and be one of the enlightened few who aren't brainwashed.

Yes.

I already have 2 'dress' watches, and I never dress up, so I am partial to chronos and divers.

Do you mind making a reservation for the 50th on my behalf?

Reservations for limited editions don't open until they're announced, usually at Baselworld. Get to know the manager of your nearest AD (or better, Omega Boutique) and let them know you're interested. If it's highly-sought-after, it's a good idea to buy a few new Omega watches from them to build a relationship.

@ulackfocus I have a few Speedies that I really like. I am not brainwashed, the ideology of free thinking is quite within my grasp. There is one watch that seems to elude me. It took me a while to find a photo on Google and I'll be buggered if I can find an actual watch.

No problem, if you just drop me their phone number it should be easy?
