Silver Snoopy Strap

I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on this strap for my Speedmaster.

Curious if anyone can comment on how the strap ages? I’m specifically worried that the white stitching will dirty over time and be hard to clean.

Leaning towards the Austin Martin for this reason.

I love it! Didn't realize that you could order the OEM strap from a boutique. Did you just walk in and ask? May have to look into that...
You can. I have done a dew times and if your not in the same city, they'll even ship it to you, so no need to even walk in.

I had a custom JR strap made, via the NYC store. I picked the color for the strap(blue) and thread(orange) and sizing. It did take a few weeks since they said that it had to be done in Paris, since it is where they have the mold for the Speedmaster. They are the ones that do the silver snoppy strap as well. My original snoppy and JR straps are identical. Here's a pic.

This may vary by boutique. I do not own a snoopy watch, but the boutique was more than happy to order the clasp and strap and take my money. Hahaha.
Yeah. I just bought the same strap and clasp a few weeks ago from the Beverly Center OB ... for my 18-year-old Seamaster Ti chronograph. I walked in there unannounced, and they happened to have several of these in stock and were more than happy to sell one to me. No talk about it being exclusive to the Snoopy or any such BS. And I'd never bought anything there previously, so had no relationship with the staff. The women working there could not have cared less about what watch this strap was supposedly intended for, or who I was or was not LOL

I love mine.

Unless you're running around in dirt, there's nothing to worry about when it comes to getting dirty.

Okay thanks... good to know.

I had white stitching on a black leather band before on a Seiko and once the stitching got dirty it looked awful. On that one I was always concerned to clean the white stitching because I thought I would ruin the leather.

On the Snoopy I think it’s less of a concern since the cordura is fabric as well so I think you could spot clean if necessary.

For those interested I got a quote of $310 CAD for the short version of the strap from the Omega service center. They claim it takes 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Can the strap be done for a FOIS? I know the lugs width is smaller on the FOIS compared to the regular moon watch.

Apologies for bumping this thread, but has anyone used or attempted a snoopy strap on a FOIS?

I think you should order the 19mm one for a FOIS. From my experience the spring bar area is pretty hard, might not be possible to squeeze into 19mm.

Many thanks for the reply. I emailed JR and this was the reply:

Thank you for your enquiry.

Unfortunately cordura straps are only available as a bespoke piece - we do not stock them in store. The current lead time for bespoke watch straps is 5-6 weeks.

The price for a cordura watch strap is £155 including contrasting stitching. If you already have a deployment clasp we can re-use it on the new strap, or if you’d like a new one, we sell them for £40. Any rubber detailing around the pin holes that you can see on the images from Omega website, I’m afraid, will not be available.

We hope this information has been useful.

Pretty bummed out that the rubber around the pin holes cant be done, especially as a previous poster was offered this @ac921ol . Can anyone confirm if they have bought this strap did they get the rubber around the pin holes or not? Is it a noticable different between the OEM with the rubber. Also is the JR clasp of good quality?

I love this combination. I think mine is exactly the same. A shorter version of the strap would probably have been better for my girly wrist.

@Jameel I got a short version of the deployant clasp. My wrist might be smaller since I still wear it at the last hole.

Who really cares about the rubber hole reinforcement (that’s why it exists) if you’re going to use a deployant? Just saying.

JR sells a deployant clasp? Does it look the same as the OEM one? Then it might be a great value at 40 gbp...

It would be nice to get is as close to OEM as possible and I think the rubber adds more sturdiness to the pin holes, which was mentioned in another post in this thread, but ultimately its not a deal breaker for me.

I also thought this was great value but unsure of what it looks like, I have asked for pictures of the clasp. Will post the reply.

Did I miss the Snoopy strap part number?
I think I like this better than a NATO because it won’t add height under the watch.

I am interested in this as well. Would like to go to a boutique and order one.

Part number is CWZ003436. Also every OB should have the latest huge accessories catalog to browse further strap options.

Great strap and clasp. Thanks to advice at this forum, I've got one on my Speedy Tuesday and another on order for my Ultraman!
