I got my Speedmaster at the end of the December. While I liked the bracelet, it wasn't quite the best fit. So I started looking at alternatives. After looking at endless threads on watch straps for the Speedy, I opted to go with the silver snoopy strap. They clasp and strap cost an arm and a leg, but were well worth it in my opinion.
I love it! Didn't realize that you could order the OEM strap from a boutique. Did you just walk in and ask? May have to look into that...
There isn't a OB where I live, but I was traveling last week and stopped by one. They did have the clasp in store, but had to order the strap. The strap was shipped to me.
I agree, this is how I have my speedy pro.....this strap is so comfortable and sleek with the deployant. The local boutiques only let me order the strap since I own the Snoopy though......
Darn it, I'm looking to pick up this combination of strap and clasp and I got excited when I initially thought this was a FS post! Looks fantastic! Enjoy!
This may vary by boutique. I do not own a snoopy watch, but the boutique was more than happy to order the clasp and strap and take my money. Hahaha.
Agreed, I've come to the conclusion to take boutique "policies" and "facts' with a grain a salt heh. I frequent 2 local boutiques here and I hear various inconsistencies all the time.
The boutiques really need to get on the same page across the board. It seems that the boutiques all make their own rules. My local boutique s are fine but when I go-to Vegas it's like a 3rd world
Nice! I am thinking of picking one of these up for my TinTin. I was in the NYC Boutique a few weeks ago and they said they would order me one.
I went with the Aston Martin version. Snoopy looks dope though! (Probably the first time that has been written or said)
Well ... yes the Snoopy strap looks great, but i changed my Snoopy2 to metal bracelet. The original strap and clasp is so difficult to wear on small arms, its so inflexible :-(
I had a custom strap made by the company that does the OEM...it was 1/2 the price. Just email them at [email protected]
