Silver Snoopy Award Speedmaster arrival date

I suspect the Silver Snoopy watches will hit the week or just after the new Bond film premieres. Omega is probably focused on selling out the Spectre related LEs and don't want to give people another LE to choose, considering the Spectre stuff is higher production numbers. There's significant demand for the Silver Snoopy, so they know they won't have trouble with those watches, the Spectre stuff on the other hand, more of a wild card, and once the film premieres, it will be a bit more challenging to sell.

Just heard mine is on its way to to the boutique .... So fingers crossed at the end of the week [emoji2]

Today my OB wrote me that they are expecting to recieve the watch in a "few weeks"... Nothing especific yet.

Turns out no one had put down a deposit.
Apparently I was emailed (never received) and once that had been done they phoned the next person on the list who put down a deposit straight away.

I guess it's my fault for not ensuring they had my phone number written down on the list........

My experience with the OB is they take your info but probably place it in the circular file unless you're already known to them as a repeat buyer. Can't say I blame them 100% as they probably get tons of people stopping in to look and giving them info without really planning a purchase.

Huh - nevermind that, not long after I posted that I heard back from the person I spoke to at the New York OB this weekend. Guess it depends on the salesperson then, or whether or not the watch you're wearing when you're in there makes them take you seriously as a buyer!

Sorry - I had stopped in to ask a couple questions about straps & parts availability, not about the Snoopy 😀 Just realized I should have pointed that out - my bad!

But, this time I was wearing my Apollo XI-45th LE; last time I went to look into a Dark Side, I was wearing my old Heuer Carrera 2447 and didn't get a call back 😁
