New arrival today, my first GMT. Easily found in excellent condition under $2500, especially if willing to buy from Japan, where there are a lot available. Not everybody’s cup of tea, I know, but I’ve never been disappointed in the workmanship and wrist feel. 35 mm is perfect for me. Sorry it’s sideways. My iphone keeps inserting it that way and I’m too dumb to figure out why.

Pulled the trigger on this, should arrive within a few days.. Looking forward to wearing it on the multitude of NATO and other 22mm straps I have. Had the D24 years ago, this is slightly smaller, but looks great to me.

If you're patient, these may be had on the secondhand market for sub $2500 (actually sub $2k).

They are simply put, tanks. The tech (nitrogen filled, moisture indicator, superhard treatment) is appealing, although unnecessary for me. I like the simplicity of the dial and the powerhouse toughness. In case anyone cares, they are rated for 2000m depth.

I’ve been on the lookout for a fully tegimented U2 for the last bit. Beast of a watch. Best value in that space 😵‍💫

I see that a few others have mentioned this watch, but I enjoy my Glycine Airman 36mm with the 12 hour movement.

I like this, unique and useful. 2 things that are hard to find in the WIS world these days. What are its specs? 😕

Orient Star. I think it was mentioned earlier. It does wear bigger. The crown guard bothers me. 2 o'clock crown push/pull. 4 o'clock screws down . Winds very smooth and power reserve builds fast.
have fun

39mm case, 24mm lugs. Pretty much the same movement as an Omega 1120 with gmt function. Limited edition and a small window on the back of the case back. I guess the team no longer exsists.

I guess the team no longer exsists.

BMW Williams was a team from 2000-2005.

BMW left F1 in 2009.

Williams have been running Mercedes engines in their F1 cars since 2014.

Not mine, but under consideration: Mido Ocean Star GMT, $1,190

I personally don't consider it a "real" GMT without a rotating 24-hour bezel though, but the Ocean Star that I have is really nicely made

My favorite inexpensive GMT watch is my Graf Zepplin LZ127.
It is a battery-powered quartz watch but has a classic look to it.
It has a 24-hour GMT hand and a date display.
It's larger case size and white dial and brown leather band are nice touches given its low price.
