I just wanted to give a big shout out to @ChrisN. He recently serviced my late forties Eterna-Matic bumper and is a heck of a stand up guy. The work he did was superb, he kept me up to date on everything he did, even taking the time to discuss the funky shock protection system it uses, he even took photos and uploaded those for me to peruse as he went. He took a fairly rare older watch that had some serious wear on it and sent me back a watch that probably runs better than it did new. Thanks Chris.

Many thanks @Waltesefalcon and you were a pleasure to work with. That is a lovely watch and I hope you get some use from it.

Always up for a BBQ if there is a decent ale available.😁 Oddly, we are actually having decent weather in Somerset this summer now that we're not meant to be going out much... I predict 40 days of rain next year!
