·All-some of you may have seen the following post, in which a generous member shared a potential purchase that he had expressed interest in.

I followed the auction and submitted exactly one bid at the minimum required raise (figuring that if the OP was bidding I would be quickly trumped and
at that point I would have bowed out or reached out to the OP to not drive up the bidding for him in a big way). In any event, shockingly there were no other bids and the strike price was favorable (even considering the premium and other charges). Anyway, the watch arrived today and here is a quick phone pic. The watch is much more subdued and crisp than the auction house pic. That one was bizarre. Nice presence, condition and heft.
I would never have had the opportunity but for the above post, so Wouter, if you are out there, I owe you a cold one. Thanks and HAGWE all.
