I was about a week overdue for a haircut when the lockdown started, and I'll be at a pretty bad place by the end of the week or so. I have a job that requires a decent amount of video meetings, so I don't want to just buzz it all off - but I have curly/wavy hair and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get myself to a presentable level with the beard trimmer I have. Any suggestions?
"What do you think the team would say if they knew you held that conference in your underwear?"
The beard trimmer will probably work ok for the sides and back, but it might not have enough range for the top. You can order an adjustable hair trimmer and have a go at the top bit by bit. If you're patient, I think it will be fine.
Yeah, I usually get a 4 on the sides, and cut on the top - but that's a hair trimmer. My beard trimmer goes up to a 10 which I think would be something like a 3, could still be worth a shot if this drags on.
I've been cutting my own hair for 15 years or so. How are the rest of you are getting by during the pandemic? 😁
I'm not vain but went every 2 weeks (been going to the same one for 25 years now), maybe once a year 1 week extra. So you can imagine it being my 5th week now and just to scared to do it myself or let anybody inexperienced do it. Will see how I think about it when I cross the 8 week mark.
