Ugh...so jealous of all the Willards. Not only is a good one hard to find, but on top of that my twiggy wrist wont support the 44 mm size and now the price will go up too b/c of the new release. My first world problems are totally out of control here
Looks like this one was tied on your tire while going on a road trip... but I have to admit that it looks like a cool veteran!
Here is my Seiko 7A28 7070 next to my Speedy, I have had this watch for 32 Years, excuse the bracelet and its a bit dirty too, its a temporary one until I can find another original. I have my eye on one, its a bit pricey but I might have to just get it. I have been wearing this almost daily since it was given to me for my 21st Birthday in 1986. These actually were not that cheap when they cam out in the early '80s, they were the first Quartz Chronograph produced, Seiko surpassed themselves with this watch. There are many variations, they are extremely accurate.
My father’s daily beater for 5 years... now it’s up for sale as I type this. Got him a Seamaster electric blue 2255.80 and he loves it! But this beaten upped Sumo got some characters...
Nice pickup @Vintagewtchzilla That's the limited edition made for German market, only 200 made with that packaging.
Very nice! An -8000/9 is the missing piece for me... Today, fresh from the spa: The under-appreciated 6309-729A, on a not-quite-correct (for a 6309) SKX Jubilee.
If you don't mind sharing, can you let me know the reference number of that model? Looks great on that fabric strap.
How about this one? Seiko Landmaster Kinetic South Pole Limited Edition in Titanium and Ceramic. The GMT hand rotates anti-clockwise and the 24 hour indices advance in the same direction. South Pole points up and carries the lume pip. A most unusual but treasured piece!
My two Seikos. The first is my first real watch purchase around 2003 timeframe (if I remember correctly). The second is my Prospex PADI watch (in celebration of my PADI certification last year).
