I was offered these tree Seikos for free, I declined the offer, was that smart? They are cool watches but I never would have worn them because of my Omegas. Did I say no to a fortune? 😀

I think you’ll be just fine. You did not miss out on a fortune.

I am wearing a Seiko today. These LCs are hard for me to resist. They feel solid and I like their look.

I also think you made the right call.

I saw someone wearing one of these Casios 'in the wild' I thought it looked cool and went on eBay to see what they had.

I was amazed that a new one was offered for £9.99 (free postage) and bought one. When it came I set it and …… haven’t worn it since 😟

I have a few of those Casios also, including a G Shock that I only wear to sleep. The G Shock has a big button for the light. But that’s all I wear it for. The Casios feels like chrome plated plastic. The Seiko LCs are heavier and feel more robust. I wear them lots.

What's the point of this post? You also have another post saying you turned down two free Swatches last year.

If we all started posting the watches we DIDN'T buy, it might break the internet.

I think Tissot made a wood cased watch.

I have also seen wooden dials.

Bonsai Seikos are what came to mind first. Tiny little watches what take hourly maintenance.

I did NOT buy about 6 watches this last week. Either the underbidder or I forgot to bid.

Took me a while and was initially confused by Fallout Boy’s post. But I get it now. (Darn migraine today…).

Is there a @Spruce tree Seiko?

On a separate but related topic, I was offered a Jaguar e type in the early 90s for $5000. I was maybe 21 at the time and that was way too much money. I know I missed out on that deal.

Damn it Three I`ll wright it a hundred times and learn from my mistakes. :whipped:

There was not really a reason for this post other than I think OF have become a bit slow lately, so I thought I post the picture when I found it on my device. Maybe someone had an interest in seeing these watches, anyway this post served its purpose as many of you had fun this poor non English speakers spelling error. 🙁

The watches come from an estate, they were in plastic bag full of fashion watches. These were the only watches that looked ok apart from a JJLeCoultre memovox and a Seiko bellmatic. These two stayed in the family and I was offered the Swathces and Seikos but I declined.

Witch tree watches did you not get this week? 🤪
